May manipulate/obtain plants qualities: aka poison buds, sharp blades (made of a thorn) at the end of vines, weave them together to create a barrier or shield, can heal with them by blooming small 'baby’s breath’ like flowers into the wounds (which disappear after), etc.

Often wields vines as main weapon when not wielding a sword or her daggers (with a flick, the daggers will unfold a sheath over the blade and unsheathed a similar way).

May cause plants to erupt into flames, burst into many more buds, take the life force from plants, causing them to shrivel when their energy is successfully taken (Serenity doesn’t know how to do this yet— but previous of her kind, specifically the cat zodiac only, can).

Based on her emotions, sometimes flowers will decorate her hair, skin, another person/people around her or the area she’s in. (Anger, sickness, being flustered, etc).

If she plants a flower on someones body, clothes, etc, she can communicate with them via their thoughts.

HUMAN (Serenity): ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ5'3", brunette hair, brown eyes, fair skin that usually has some bruises or scratches (may be seen with a few bandaids at a time) due to her craft at the shop, training or sparring. Possesses a petite, but toned build.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

HUMAN (Ren): ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ5'10, dark brown/black hair, brown eyes, similar to Serenity in that he seems to always have some wounds (mostly seen with a bandage wrap or two), these due to torture and forced combat training. Broad and defined frame, due to the immense pressure that was placed on him to prove himself as a warrior.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

HYBRID: ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤThis form is pertains all incarnations of the Chinese zodiac animals as they all have a hybrid form as well. Serenity & Ren's hybrid form contains: cat ears, a cat tail and may sometimes include a collar (with a bell for Serenity, without a bell for Ren). On some occasions their "canines" (aka 'fangs') may be sharper than average.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

CAT: ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤThough those who possess the spirit of the cat zodiac, may transform into whatever breed or appearance of a typical, domestic house cat, the most natural form of feline they take is that of a vitiligo cat with black and white ever-changing patterns of swirls. (reference: Elli the vitiligo cat).ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

"TRUE/MONSTER": ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ(Serenity's is appearance is the only one able to be described, since it is unclear what Ren's or other cat zodiac's true forms looked like). ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤThe only zodiac that possesses such a horrific form is the cat, as it was cursed due to the events discussed in the folktale and true story (see: "the curse" for further explanation). ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤUpon transforming into this form, the ground will start to tremble and a cloud of dark, potent, thick smoke will spiral around the individual possessing the spirt of the cat zodiac, beginning the immensely painful process.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤHer skin will increasingly become more pale, almost lifeless, by the second as a poem by the name of "death's poem" will begin trailing down from her forehead, to her jaw (starting with the first half on the right side of her face, and the second half on the left), before trailing down to inscribe along on the expanse of rest of her body, circling her limbs, abdomen, chest, thighs, etc.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤHer nails will begin to grow out into sharp, long, unforgiving claws. Shortly after, her two horns that resemble the bones of a spine, will grow out, curved slightly, at their ends pointed like an arrowhead, decorated with needle-like thin, thorns. Similarly, her tail will grow out in the exact same shape, extended outward. Black feline ears will appear in the area just in front of each horn.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤHair will grow out wildly (somewhat like "the grudge"), but it's a pure, nearly ghostly white. A metal clasp is seen clamped around her neck, a thick chain that hangs gown from the back, broken at the end. The same type of clasp is seen on both wrists, one at her ankle with similar dragging chains (such pieces are akin to that of of medieval prisoner restraints, reflecting the literal isolation past cat zodiac's have faced).ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤIn addition to the poem that has now encircled and coiled around various parts of her body, her skin is decorated with intense bruises and scrapes varying in severity. Several thorns pierce from her skin, as vines and hanakatoba flowers grow out of her very being in a much more horrid way, as if she was their sole ecosystem. Some flowers may appear full while some are withered. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤA mask that has been passed down since the beginning of the incarnations of the cat zodiac will appear last. The mask supposed to be a "full-face" mask made of clay and other Earthen based materials, shielding most of her facial features as it is cracked at the left side of her face, only revealing what is under her left eye, everything below that and part of mouth which is distorted by a gash along the edge. The mask is somewhat withered, proving just how much ancient history and struggle was left behind. Her eyes peer through the eye sockets of the mask, coloring a deep crimson as if fire burned in her very optics, pupils resembling a demon's (slit shaped).ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤThe clothes she's partially dressed in are ripped tatters of a midnight colored gown, flowing somewhat as it adds a further eerie factor to her appearance.

has the soul of the first incarnate of the cat living within her. In other words, the first person cursed with possessing the spirit of the cat zodiac dwells within her and has been able to force her into his previous form on several occasions. In this form, Serenity will turn into what this person once looked like, hundreds of years ago: a male who looks nothing like her, being able to recall past memories from that lifetime. In his current state, Serenity still controls this body and acts as herself. This spirit can only be heard in her own thoughts as of right now. (Keep in mind that this is not another character, they are the same person, at least for now. This may change in the future).

Attends university, majoring in "botany."

Works at a flower shop that specializes in arrangements and herbal medicines.

Uncontrollably takes the form of a cat form when she is tired, stressed, ill or hugged by the opposite sex (only if she doesn’t have her white beaded bracelet).

Must wear a red beaded bracelet to keep from turning into a “monstrous" form.

Can attract cats as that is her possessed zodiac animal and can lightly communicate with them.

When she unexpectedly turns into any other form or returns to human form, a cloud of smoke surrounds her frame.

When given the memory-erasing ring from her clan, she is allowed to take memories away from those who have accidentally seen her non-human forms, in order to avoid conflict. Afterwards, she must return the clan ring.

Due to training with her master for essentially half of her life, she's developed a skilled set of fighting abilities in both mixed martial arts and sword fighting, in addition to a deep knowledge of plants.

Has the ability to manipulate plants at her will and grow different plants as she wishes. Although she's never weaponized her standard abilities, it's surely possible.

During nights that the full moon rises, a burning sensation causes her body to ache from the inside out. The only way to relieve the pain is to use her abilities. As a result, she often works late hours in the shop and perfects some of her creations.

Can teleport to a garden where the location is unknown. For miles, there is not a single human and because of that, she uses this area when she needs to calm herself or when she needs to train as no one can catch her practicing there.
